Leslie Hindman

Leslie Hindman is President of Leslie Hindman Auctioneers and is one of the country’s foremost authorities on the buying and selling of fine art, antiques and collectibles. Her auction house holds regularly scheduled auctions specializing in 17th through 20th century furniture and decorative arts, estate jewelry and timepieces, 19th and 20th century paintings, print, drawings, rugs, Asian works of art and collectibles. In 1982, Leslie founded Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago, Illinois. Within a few years it grew to be the largest auction house in the Midwest and the fifth largest in the country. As a result of her firm’s outstanding reputation, it was acquired by Sotheby’s in 1997. Leslie returned to the auction business in July 2003. The auction house is located in Chicago’s West Loop. Leslie Hindman Auctioneers provides a full range of services for trust and estate professionals, including on-site inspections, appraisals for estate tax, gift tax and for replacement value and assisting in fully realizing the value of the trust or estate.
