Joan Bottarini

Joan Bottarini is the Chief Financial Officer of Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) and has been with the Company since 2000. Joan previously served as Senior Vice President, Finance, Americas and as Vice President, Hotel Finance, Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong. Prior to those positions, she has held various roles in Financial Planning and Analysis, Investor Relations and Financial Reporting. Prior to joining Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Joan was the Controller of Development Finance and External Reporting at Essex Property Trust, a Palo Alto, California-based real estate investment trust (ESS: NASDAQ). She began her career at KPMG and served clients primarily in the Real Estate practice in both San Francisco and Chicago from 1993 to 1998. Ms. Bottarini lives in a suburb of Chicago with her husband, Jared, and their two children, Jayne and Josh. She enjoys running, reading, and entertaining family and friends. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
