Jill Schaaf is president of Baxter’s renal business. In this role, she leads the company’s global commercial organization serving renal patients and clinicians around the world. Most recently she was global franchise head for Baxter’s chronic renal franchise.

Schaaf joined the company in 2001 and has held several positions of increasing responsibility, all in the renal business. Among them, she has served as vice president of home therapies marketing, vice president of home hemodialysis and general manager of the U.S. renal business. Prior to joining Baxter, she served in a variety of global and U.S. marketing roles at Searle.

She currently serves on the steering committee for Baxter’s African American Leadership Council and is the executive sponsor of Baxter Women Leaders, business resource groups for employees that provide forums for developing skills, experiencing valuable cultural connections and supporting key business initiatives.

Schaaf is the chair of BAXPAC, Baxter’s political action committee. She is also on the board of directors for the American Red Cross Greater Chicago and the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois.

She earned her master’s degree in business administration from Washington University and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Notre Dame.
