With more than 35 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, Diane Offereins has served as Discover Financial Services Executive Vice President, President – Payment Services since 2009, and is a member of the company’s Executive Committee. As the head of Discover’s Payment Services division, she is responsible for uniting three payment networks – Discover Network, Diners Club International and PULSE – into a global payments business. Ms. Offereins has been with Discover since 1998 and has held several positions within the company including Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, prior to overseeing Discover’s payment networks.

Before joining Discover, Ms. Offereins was Senior Executive Vice President for MBNA America, responsible for managing corporate system development. Prior to that, Ms. Offereins spent five years as Vice President of retail delivery systems and wholesale delivery systems for Bank of America in San Francisco, and was with Southeast Bank in Miami for nine years, servicing as Vice President and Director of Application Development at the time of her departure.

Ms. Offereins received her BBA in accounting from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is an active community member. In addition to her responsibilities with Discover, Ms. Offereins is on the Board of Directors of the Brighthouse Financial, Inc. She is also a board member of Children’s Home and Aid and a mentor for children in the program. She belongs to The Chicago Network, an organization of professional women of achievement in business, the arts, government, the professions and academia. American Banker magazine has named Ms. Offereins among the Top 25 Women in Finance every year from 2008 to 2017. She is currently ranked #6.
