Cary is an executive advisor to Aquiline Capital Partners and on the Board of Directors of State Farm Insurance, League Inc., Sageview Advisors and FinTech Evolution (NYSE: FTEV.UT).  She was most recently the CEO of the Retirement, Investment and Human Capital Solutions business at Aon, responsible for leading and driving the growth of a $2 billion annual revenue business that includes market-leading retirement, investment management and human capital capabilities; she also led Aon’s Global M&A integration, its Private Health Exchange businesses as well as its Global Enterprise Client Management functions.  She was a member of the 10-person Policy and Governance Team, the Operating Committee and a named executive officer of the Corporation. Cary led 12,000 colleagues across 50 global offices who provided solutions for 10,000 clients, 9 million retirement participants and over $3 trillion in investable assets.

Prior to joining Aon in 2012 Cary was an executive at Bank of America and a predecessor to J.P. Morgan, leading global institutional advisory, high net worth and consumer businesses as well as finance, investor relations, marketing and M&A functions.

A long-time civic and industry leader, she is a passionate supporter and leader of efforts to accelerate diversity and inclusion and was a past Chair of the Board of The Chicago Network, is on the Board of Trustees of Rush University Medical Center and the Board of Advisors of Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.  She received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, where she was a Baker Scholar, and received a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

She has been honored as American Banker’s 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance for multiple years and Business Insurance’s Women to Watch.
