Rolla Sweis

Dr. Rolla Sweis currently serves as the President and CEO of La Rabida Children’s Hospital. Prior to this role, Rolla was the Chief Operating Officer at Advocate Christ Medical Center. Before that, she held the position of VP of Operations for the South Chicagoland Hospitals, which included Christ Medical Center, South Suburban Hospital, and Trinity Hospital. In these roles, Rolla was instrumental in optimizing hospital operations, strengthening service lines, implementing strategic objectives, and overseeing several multi-million-dollar construction and renovation projects. Rolla began her career as a pharmacist and spent most of her clinical career as an emergency medicine pharmacist. She received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois and a master’s in organizational leadership from Lewis University. She also holds an affiliate faculty appointment in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy. Rolla serves on the boards of Live4Lali (Board Treasurer), MedGlobal (VP of the Board), the Illinois Hospital Association (IHA) PAC (Political Action Committee), and the American Heart Association (AHA) Challenge Board.
