Meghan Otis

Meghan Otis is a co-founder and partner at Lightspring Capital Partners, a majority women-led and women-owned private investment firm focused on buyouts in the lower middle-market. Prior to forming Lightspring, Meghan was a partner with Waveland Investments, a lower middle-market focused private equity firm, and previously held professional roles with Goldman Sachs and Jones Lang LaSalle. Meghan is passionate about empowering women and through Lightspring sponsors programs that seek to promote inclusivity in alternative investments.

Meghan is a Member of the Private Equity Women Investor Network (PEWIN), an organization for senior level women in private equity, Young President’s Organization (YPO), the Economic Club of Chicago and Women Corporate Directors.

Meghan serves on the board of Wintrust Bank. Additionally, Meghan serves as a Trustee of Northlight Theatre and is a member of the American Heart Association’s Heart of Chicago Board. Meghan previously served on the Board of Directors for Morecare, a Medicare health plan focused on medically complex seniors as well as The Enterprising Kitchen, a nonprofit organization created to provide job training and life skills development for women living in poverty in Chicago.

Meghan received her MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Northwestern University.
