Linda K. Myers is a nationally recognized corporate partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Linda was a member of Kirkland’s Global Management Committee from 2010 to 2020 and has three decades of experience advising clients. A senior partner and one of the original members of the Firm’s Debt Finance Practice Group, she focuses her work on transactions for private equity groups, commercial lending institutions, and major private and public companies. Linda is ranked by Chambers Global and Chambers USA as one of a very exclusive group of “Eminent Practitioners” nationwide.

Ms. Myers is heavily involved in the recruitment and retention of diverse attorneys at Kirkland. She has taken on a leading role in founding and establishing many committees and initiatives that promote diversity within Kirkland, including the Women’s Leadership Initiative and Kirkland’s Diversity Integration Task Force. Her vision and leadership extend far beyond diversity-related initiatives to other important areas of the firm as well. She chairs the firm’s Administrative Committee and plays a role in the finance, compensation, performance review, and policy functions at the firm. At the request of her colleagues on Kirkland’s Global Management Executive Committee, Ms. Myers took a lead role in structuring policies and programs to improve the associate experience and satisfaction at Kirkland including leadership and management training and business development training.

Ms. Myers is an active member of numerous associations, including the Chicago Finance Exchange, the Chicago Shakespeare Board of Directors, The Economic Club of Chicago, Gibraltar Industries Board of Directors, Kinzie Capital Partners Advisory Board, the Lyric Opera of Chicago Board of Directors, National Philanthropic Trust Board of Directors, St. Ignatius College Prep Board of Trustees, among others.

She earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. in Economics and International Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
