Julie Vander Weele is Chief Operating Officer of DiMeo Schneider & Associates, an investment consulting firm with nearly $200 billion in assets under advisement. She provides leadership in the area of operations and spearheads the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
Prior to her current position, Julie was a Partner and Managing Director of Wealth Management at RMB Capital, an independent wealth and asset management firm. She spent the previous 25 years as a Senior Managing Director at Mesirow Financial, a financial services firm with approximately $33 billion under management. She led the Private Client Services, Retirement Plan Services and Investment Strategies Divisions and served on the firm’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
Julie currently serves on the Board of Trustees for La Rabida Children’s Hospital, as a Trustee for the William & Mary Mason School of Business Foundation and on the Advisory Board for the Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Her previous activities include serving as President of Friends of Prentice at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, a member of the Board of Governors for the Investment Advisor Association, Trustee for the Illinois Council for Economic Education, as a member of the FINRA District Committee, on the board of the Girl Scouts of Chicago and as Chairperson of the Rush Neurobehavioral Center.
Julie earned a Masters of Management degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and B.S from Northern Illinois University.
