Holly Tyson currently serves as Executive Vice President & Chief People Officer of Cushman & Wakefield, a $9.4B global commercial real estate and services firm where she leads a team of 550 colleagues responsible for ensuring the company’s structures and approaches create an inclusive, talent-focused culture that drives growth through developing, engaging, and deploying 53,000 employees across 60 countries. Holly is a data-driven business leader with a particular focus on transformation and more than 20 years of public company HR leadership experience in the technology, retail, logistics and healthcare industries.

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Holly was Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Zebra Technologies, a $4.5 billion hardware and software technology company in Chicago. Prior to that, Holly was CHRO at DICK’S Sporting Goods, and before that, held the same role at The Brink’s Company. Prior to becoming a CHRO/CPO, Holly spent eight years at Bristol-Myers Squibb with her final role leading human resources for the U.S. Pharmaceuticals business. She began her career in consulting at Accenture and CIGNA where she focused on organizational change and talent initiatives.

For the last ten years, including the past five years on the executive committee as Treasurer, Holly has served on the Board of Directors of the Cancer Support Community, a global non- profit network of 175 locations delivering $50M+ annually in services to cancer patients and families. She is a member of the Pitch Your Peers Chicago Charity Organization and works to support the Hadley School for the Blind in Winnetka, IL, and the Pinky Swear Foundation for childhood cancer. She has also served on the Dick’s Sporting Goods Foundation, the Executive Advisory Council for University of Richmond Robins School of Business, is a member of the HR Policy Association and the HR50 organization of large company CHROs.
Holly holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University and bachelor’s degrees in English and psychology from the College of William & Mary. She and her family live in Winnetka, IL on the north shore of Chicago.
