Catherine Tabaka

Catherine J. Tabaka is a seasoned global healthcare executive with over 30 years of experience leading transformation, repositioning product and service portfolios, and driving profitable growth for med-tech, hospital support services, and decentralized care management organizations. She brings to the boardroom a proven ability to understand markets and define strategy, unlock value through commercial excellence and disciplined execution, and a deep understanding of large-scale corporate account management.

As President & CEO of Matrix Medical Network, she is repositioning the company from a transactional in-home health assessment provider into a longitudinal whole-person, technology-enabled care coordination platform. By streamlining the portfolio, building a strong leadership team, introducing lean operating discipline, and reinvesting in digital capabilities, she restored profitability and top- and bottom-line growth, while strengthening client partnerships across payers and providers.

Previously, Catherine served as CEO of Sodexo Healthcare North America, a $3B division with 35,000 employees delivering non-clinical support services to over 1,500 hospitals and healthcare facilities. She created a new strategy, consolidated operations, rebuilt the commercial organization, redefined the value proposition, and instituted account management practices that doubled qualified sales pipeline opportunities and significantly improved retention, win rates, and profitability. Earlier, she held senior leadership roles at Hill-Rom (now Baxter), driving global product and market growth in patient support systems, and spent two decades at GE, of which 11 years with GE Healthcare in Europe, Asia, and the U.S., where she scaled imaging and services businesses through portfolio management, new product introductions, emerging market expansion, and customer-focused strategies.

Catherine currently serves on the Board of Matrix Medical Network and has previously served on the boards of Wellist.com and the National Center for Healthcare Leadership. She is a member of The Chicago Network and a mentor to healthcare start-ups at MATTER in Chicago. She also served as an advisor to the French Foreign Trade Council. Fluent in English, French, and German, she holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a BA from EM Lyon.
