Christine Laurens is an experienced independent board director and former global Chief Financial Officer, valued for her ability to combine rigorous financial oversight with strong governance judgment, and human centered leadership. She brings deep expertise across audit and risk, cybersecurity, executive compensation, and enterprise transformation, and is recognized as a Qualified Financial Expert. Known for her purposeful and joyful leadership, she fosters trust, collaboration, and open dialogue. Ms. Laurens most recently served as Chief Financial Officer and Partner at Spencer Stuart, a global leadership advisory firm, where she was responsible for enterprise wide financial stewardship and compensation, and served as an ex officio member of the firm’s board of directors. She has since retired from the firm, allowing her to focus fully on board service and governance leadership.

She served on the board of Technicolor S.A. (Euronext Paris: TCH, now VANTIVA), where she played an active role in audit, risk, and executive compensation oversight. Following the spin-off of Technicolor Creative Studios, she chaired the Talent and Remuneration Committee and later served as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, while remaining a member of the Talent Committee. Her tenure concluded in May 2025 following the sale of the company’s assets. During a period marked by CEO successions, multiple financial restructurings, and a take private transaction, she was deeply engaged in guiding governance, financial discipline, and stakeholder alignment through sustained disruption.

Earlier, Ms. Laurens was CFO and Partner at Kearney, a global consulting firm operating in 44 countries. In addition to leading Finance, Real Estate, and Procurement, she oversaw Information Technology, giving her direct experience balancing business enablement, data protection, and cybersecurity risk at scale. Under her leadership, the firm more than doubled earnings through a strategic shift toward profitable growth, while strengthening global operating discipline. She began her career at Kearney in Paris and held multiple roles within the finance organization. She has contributed to the World Economic Forum Agenda, authoring articles on workforce strategy and cybersecurity, reflecting her long standing engagement at the intersection of technology, talent, and risk.

Previously, she served as CFO of publicly traded company Keyrus, Managing Director of Agency.com France, and CFO of Pictoris Interactive. She began her professional career at EY as an Audit Manager in the Telecommunications and Media practice.

A dual U.S. and French citizen, Ms. Laurens is trilingual in English, French, and Spanish, and is a Certified Public Accountant in France. She holds advanced degrees from HEC Paris and ESADE Barcelona (CEMS) and completed executive education at Harvard Business School. She serves on the board of Friends of HEC Inc., is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and The Chicago Network and was named CFO of the Year for large private companies by FEI International.
