Katherine C. Doyle was the Chief Executive Officer and Board Director of Swanson Health Products; which is a private equity-backed, health and wellness brand providing a full range of products to help consumers around the world live simply healthier together. Swanson is a direct-to-consumer business model with eCommerce as the dominant channel. Ms. Doyle is responsible for leading a comprehensive transformation of the business and organization to enable it to compete and thrive in the fast-paced, global eCommerce market. Swanson has been recognized as a “Best Places to Work in Chicago” just two years after opening an office there.

In addition, Ms. Doyle serves on the Bemis Company, Inc.’s Board of Directors where she has served on the audit committee and currently serves on both the nomination/governance and compensation committees.  Bemis is a $4b global packaging and innovation provider to consumer products, healthcare, and industrial companies with 56 manufacturing facilities across 10 countries. Ms. Doyle also serves as a Board Director at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, the largest science center in the Western Hemisphere, and serves on the Finance and Audit Committees.  Finally, Ms. Doyle is a member of The Chicago Network an invitation-only organization of the leading C-level female executives.

Previously, Ms. Doyle was a Senior Vice President and Corporate Officer at Abbott Laboratories,  where she was led the Abbott Nutrition Products Division.  In this role, she had full P&L responsibility for $3.25b in sales across the Pediatric, Performance and Adult nutrition brands, 1600 employees and 5 manufacturing plants.  She also served on the board of the Grocery Manufacturers of America representing Abbott’s views on GMOs, sustainability and clean labels.  Prior to Abbott, Katie was a senior Principal at McKinsey & Company where she worked with leading consumer and retail companies across the US, Europe, Africa and Asia.   During her tenure at McKinsey she lived in Paris (1 year) and South Africa (4 years) and worked extensively across Asia for her clients.

Katherine has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in International Studies from John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies where she spent her first year studying in Bologna, Italy and a semester at the Universite de Sorbonne in Paris.  She was also an economics fellow at John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Over the past year, she has completed courses at both Stanford University and Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management for Corporate Governance for Board Directors.
