Emilia DiMenco is the Retired President and CEO of the Women’s Business Development Center after 15 years of service. Previously, she spent 30 years at BMO Harris retiring as an Executive Vice President. She spent 45 years supporting and accelerating business development and growth for corporations and business owners across the Midwest.
Emilia spent her career immersed in the business community. Her last appointments as President and CEO of the WBDC were by the Governor of the State of Illinois to sit on the Business Enterprise Program Council, and by the President of the Cook County Board to sit on the Economic Development Advisory Council. She is a member of the Economic Club, Executive Club, The Chicago Network, International Women’s Forum, Chicago Finance Exchange, Federation of Women Contractors, NAWBO Chicago, and Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. She has received many recognitions and awards for her leadership and impact and actively assisting small business owners and entrepreneurs achieve their full potential.
Emilia holds a B.S. and an M.B.A. degree in finance from DePaul University and has studied international finance at Loyola University’s Rome Center.
