Responsibilities
Lynn is the Midwest Region Leader for Aon, which includes offices in Chicago, Wisconsin, Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Ohio, Michigan, and Pittsburgh. As the Midwest Region Leader at Aon, she leads our teams in nine states and works with our solution line leaders in Risk Capital and Human Capital to deliver solutions to clients across Commercial Risk, Health, Wealth and Talent.
Lynn has been with Aon for over 30 years and has held various client-facing and leadership roles throughout her tenure. She is passionate about providing value and insights to clients, partners, and colleagues, and to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Experience
Lynn has worked in a variety of roles at Aon. Most recently she served as the Central Region Leader and prior to that she was the Resident Managing Director for the Grand Rapids Office. She also has actively supported employee career pathing, mentorship, and client team assignments, while creating and fostering a team culture.
In addition to these roles, Lynn is part of the Aon North American Leadership Team and supports initiatives across North America as well as serves on a variety of corporate projects.
Lynn also currently serves on the board of directors for Legacy Trust Bank and the Lincoln Park Zoo.
Expertise
Lynn’s areas of expertise include total cost of risk reduction strategies in collaboration with Aon’s extensive resources; insurance solutions for M&A transactions; and Property/Casualty solutions for industry focus groups of retail, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Lynn was named Risk & Insurance Power Broker for the Retail Industry in 2013 and 2014.
Education
Lynn received a BA from Calvin University. She also has completed the Aon Pinnacle Leadership Program in collaboration with Cornell University.
Personal
Lynn enjoys spending time with her husband, Kurt, and their two grown children, Regan and Luke. She likes to spend her free time at their cabin in northern Michigan, spending time with family and friends, enjoying great food, and traveling.
