Celia Gamrath

JUSTICE CELIA GAMRATH Illinois Appellate Court Judicial Experience: In 2010, the Illinois Supreme Court appointed Celia Gamrath to the Circuit Court of Cook County. She was elected by voters in 2012 to the Circuit Court. She was elected to the Illinois Appellate Court in 2024, where she now serves. Legal Experience: Prior to becoming a judge, Celia Gamrath was an Appellate Law Clerk for Justice Thomas Rakowski. She later became a partner of Schiller, DuCanto & Fleck, where she concentrated in complex motion practice, litigation, and appeals in the Illinois Supreme and Appellate Courts.
