Ashley is chairman of Duchossois Capital Management (DCM). She is the fourth generation to lead this privately held, family business, headquartered in Chicago since 1916. DCM’s fiduciary board consists of four outside directors and four family members, and Ashley currently serves on the Governance and Nominating, Audit, and Investment and Finance committees. In addition, Ashley is chairman of The Duchossois Family Foundation (TDFF). Founded in 1984, the foundation focuses on the veteran population and strives to empower individuals to enhance their quality of life through wellness and economic opportunity. Outside of DCM and TDFF, Ashley serves as a trustee for the University of Chicago, and on the Executive Committee. She is also on the board of the UChicago Medical Center, as a member of the Executive Committee and as chair of the Governance Committee. Ashley serves on the national board of the Smithsonian Institution and was recently named a director of the Economic Club of Chicago. Additionally, she serves on the Illinois State’s Attorney Business Advisory Council. For more than twenty years, she has been involved with the not-for-profit organization, Metropolitan Family Services, in various leadership positions. She was honored to be named one of Crain’s Chicago Business 2025 Women of Influence. Ashley received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado and her Master’s from the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. She lives in Chicago with her husband, Michael, and their sons, Charlie and Owen.
