Carole is the Head of U.S. Deal Advisory & Strategy and Americas Regional Head of Deal Advisory at KPMG LLP. She leads the firm’s extensive network of consultants as they take clients through the M&A transaction lifecycle, from deal strategy and due diligence to post-close integration and value creation. She provides strategic advice and counsel to leaders of corporate, private equity, and public organizations as they look to execute on complex transactions, improve businesses performance, reduce risk, and reshape strategy. Prior to her current role leading U.S. Deal Advisory and Strategy, Carole built out the group’s Midwest Healthcare and Life Sciences industry practice based in Chicago before going on to lead this practice nationally. While leading the industry practice, she gained extensive dealmaking experience and expertise, while also obtaining significant cross-border deal exposure, executing on transactions in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Canada. Carole has spent her entire career of more than 26 years with KPMG, giving her unrivalled insight into the full spectrum of the firm’s capabilities. Her tenure enables her to lead KPMG’s network of consultants and leverage their extensive industry and functional expertise “? in combination with the firm’s best-in-class data and analytics “? allowing clients to unlock new sources of value and drive sustainable growth. Carole’s mission as a leader is to foster a diverse team and an inclusive culture. To that end, she is a contributing member of KPMG’s Network of Women (KNOW) and the Deal Advisory and Strategy Women’s initiative, where she mentors the next generation of female leaders, preparing and supporting them in their progress toward the leadership roles of the future. Carole also spearheaded KPMG’s founding-level sponsorship of Private Equity Women Investor Network (PEWIN), the pre-eminent organization for senior women leaders in private equity. These roles demonstrate Carole’s commitment to not only promoting KPMG’s internal DEI efforts, but also supporting external organizations that are dedicated to advancing women in industries where they may have a limited presence. In 2021, Consulting Magazine named Carole as an honoree for Women Leaders in Consulting in the category of Excellence in Leadership. In 2017, she was recognized on Crain’s list of Most Influential Women in Accounting in Chicago. In 2014, she received the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association’s Rising Star award, and currently she serves on the board of Rush University Medical Center.
