Kim is an assurance partner in the EY Chicago office, serving as a coordinating partner, engagement quality review partner and senior advisory partner for a number of accounts across multiple sectors. She has served several of the firm’s global priority accounts, and as the primary client contact, is responsible for maintaining global client relationships, advising on accounting matters, and managing multiple engagement teams.
Kim also had the privilege of serving as the Chicago Office Managing Partner for 5 years, leading strategies around markets, talent development and community engagement.
The combination of experience as a client service partner, Chicago Managing Partner and leadership on various boards gives Kim a broad network and unique perspective into matters that can impact companies, including changes in culture, the regulatory landscape, and talent management.
Kim is a graduate of Indiana University and a CPA currently licensed to practice in Illinois. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society and Economic Club of Chicago. Kim is also a board member of the Shedd Aquarium, United Way of Metropolitan Chicago, and Global Leadership Network, and previously served on the boards of World Business Chicago and Willow Creek Community Church.
