Kath is a partner at Ernst & Young LLP and serves as the Midwest Transaction Advisory Services Leader. She is a 20-year industry veteran with more than 13 years of experience in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, as well as five years of audit experience. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Kath was the Director of M&A for the southern region of a $750 million national healthcare transportation company. Kath’s broad industry experience includes manufacturing, retail, restaurants, distribution, technology, media and entertainment, and healthcare services. Kath has been frequently recognized for her commitment to gender equity throughout her career at Ernst & Young, and was most recently awarded the 2008 Rosemarie Meschi Award for her leadership in inclusiveness.

She received a BSBA with a double major in Accounting and Marketing, Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University of Montgomery, and is a licensed CPA. She is a member of the AICPA, ILCPA, MSCPA and Beta Gamma Sigma. Kath is a former member of the Women’s Executive Committee of the ILCPA Society, where she served from 2005-2008. She is on the Board of the Friends of Prentice Women’s Hospital and the Chicago Finance Exchange. She is an active volunteer with Make A Wish Foundation and participates in numerous community events. Kath is also a sought-after speaker and frequently presents on topics relevant to private equity and M&A trends.
